As I already stated, I should have read this book in one go, instead of taking a long break. After finally getting into the story, I couldn't put it down. What I really like about Jay Bell's writing is his ability to let the reader feel with these young guys and although they have to face several tough experiences, he never let it become too dramatic. The story was just moving along quite nice and then out of the blue suddenly the whole direction changed and David and Connor had to break down some tough barriers. Nevertheless the author managed the balancing act between drama and not getting over the top. All in all a wonderful book.
